Quick Take: “Tropical illness moving north” is simply more climate scare-mongering

We’ve been writing for a while about how the most recent propaganda drive on “climate change” will be primarily about turning it into a public health crisis (see this piece from last week).

… and the media have remained in a rush to prove us right.

Yesterday it was reported by the Mail that “specialists” had told the UK Parliament that increased temperature levels due to environment modification would reach UK shores carried by mosquitoes and ticks:

World’s deadliest diseases are coming to the UK due to the fact that of environment modification: Mosquitos and ticks carrying infections with death rates of as much as 50% will make Britain house, professionals warn MPs

The illness of issue included Zika– the initial harmless “pandemic” back in 2016— along with Breakbone fever. However the genuine scaremongering was booked for Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF).

In this circumstances, the Daily Mail was surpassed in regards to fearmongering by the Daily Record, who reported today:

Deadly virus now ‘extremely most likely’ to strike UK in brand-new environment modification caution

Wales Online contrived to be even less subtle:

Infection which kills someone a second likely to be heading to UK, scientists state

“Someone a second”. Uh-huh.

The fear-mongering rather breaks down when you take a look at what “specialist” James Wood– a vet, not a physician by the method– really said, basically exposing that he has no idea if and/or when CCHF would get here in the UK:

“We do not know what is going to show up till it does […] Some tick-borne infections, so Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever, are extremely likely to spread out in the UK through our ticks at some time,”

Still, whether or not CCHF does begin eliminating “one person a 2nd” in the UK, the bright side is they started working on a vaccine previously this year.

In amongst this disorderly rubbish, there is more subtle messaging in the type of public declarations from organizations (like this one from Ireland’s public health authority) and elected authorities (like Rep. Scott Peters). All of it is designed to sell a message through repetition– like a therapist.

“Climate modification is a public health problem. Environment change is like Covid but worse.”

Over and over and over and over and over and over once again. There will likely be legislation quickly. Watch out for that.

Truly, this isn’t a lot a “fast take” as an upgrade … with a little bit of “we informed you so” included.
