Oh, and, here is a Tweet by Jessica Berlin, a political analyst and professional in security issues and worldwide advancement, and a former fellow of The German Marshall Fund of the United States, and the founder and Managing Director of something called CoStruct, where she recommends governments, structures, mutual fund, NGOs, and companies big and little on method and program style to tackle worldwide obstacles with sustainable, scalable services, and who is also an analyst at Deutsche Welle News, Washington Post, BBC World Service, Tagesspiegel, ZDF, et al., which is also absolutely not( i.e., Jessica’s Tweet is not )”propaganda, the contents of which are intended to advance the aims of a previous National Socialist company.” OK, yes, Jessica tweeted the exact same photograph of a bunch of little Nazi girls waving little Nazi flags with swastikas on them that I tweeted back in 2021 (I believe), and wrote “they are back,” describing the Nazis, however Jessica was describing individuals in Frankfurt who were supporting Russia rather of … well, you understand, the completely non-Nazi Azov Detachment, or “Division,” or whatever they are calling themselves now, and the other Nazi-regalia-wearing heroesthat New Normal Germany is supporting and equipping, whereas I was describing the decent, well-meaning, “sadly incorrect,” order-following individuals all around the world who were maltreating “the Unvaccinated,” and who wanted to lock us up in “quarantine camps,” and by force experimentally “immunize” us.
However, seriously, this investigation is a joke … and it’s not. The Berlin authorities have the power to imprison me for as much as 3 years, or to fine me countless Eurodollars, for tweeting the art work on the cover of my book.
Apparently, I tweeted a picture of the book cover (or at least the cover art of the book) on my birthday, August 24, 2022 at 5:51 P.M. CET, and then once again on August 27, 2022 at 8:47 P.M. CET, according to the notice of Ermittlungsverfahren from the Staatsanwaltschaft Berlin. (Yes, I’ve simply utilized the German terms for comic result, so they can include that to my charges.) I can’t enter into all the details of my case, and I am definitely not going to argue it in this column– my attorney’s job is challenging enough; I suggest, envision having me for a client– however I can fill you in on life in New Typical Germany and share a few of my individual psychological feelings about the nation I have called home for practically twenty years now.
My individual psychological sensations are, it sucks. It didn’t used to draw. It utilized to be lovely. When I arrived here in Berlin in 2004, the city was still in its “poor but attractive” phase. It reminded me of my years in San Francisco in the early 1980s, prior to the dotcom boom, other than for all the bullet holes in the exteriors of buildings from the Russian gatling gun, and the Stolpersteine, and … well, everybody speaking German. I was still “poor but sexy” back then, and in the throes of a prolonged midlife crisis (i.e., running around making a fool of myself with Berlin club kids half my age, tripping on mushrooms in Volkspark Friedrichshain, and taking part in other degenerate behaviors), so it appeared the best place to establish camp in Europe.
And it was … till the Spring of 2020.
Given its history and the character of its citizens, Berlin seemed like the last put on Earth that was ever going to go totalitarian again … and then it did. In the blink of an eye. Like someone had turned a huge “fascism on” switch.
Human rights were suddenly cancelled. Demonstrations against the New Normal were banned. The German media started draining propaganda like a Goebbelisan keyboard instrument. Show and tell of conformity were mandated. “The Unvaccinated” were prohibited from society. Dislike intoxicated mobs of New Normal Germans began searching down maskless individuals on trains. By the end of it, the government was making strategies to forcibly “immunize” the entire population.
I’m not going to inform the whole story once again here. I informed it in the book. I informed it as it occurred. I informed it these Permission Factory columns …
… and in many other non-New-Normal-Germany-related columns.
As anyone who has checked out those columns or the book knows, “The New Normal Reich” does not refer to Germany specifically. I have actually also composed thoroughly about the New Normal USA, the New Normal United Kingdom, New Typical Canada, New Normal Australia, and numerous other New Typical countries, none of which, as far as I know, are trying to imprison me for my writing, currently.
But Germany is delicate about its Nazi history, and, well, who wouldn’t be? I certainly would be. If I belonged to the German government, or the authorities, or the media, or the culture market, I most likely would not take extremely kindly to an American author reminding everybody of when my people tried to dominate Europe, and methodically murdered countless Jews and assorted other types of people due to the fact that they believed they were the “master race.”
Of course, the New Normal has absolutely nothing to do with the Jews, or the Holocaust, or even Nazism, particularly. As I’ve written and mentioned in my columns and my interviews, the New Regular is a brand-new kind of totalitarianism … totalitarianism, of which Nazism is one example to name a few.

(i.e., international industrialism, or global corporatism, or whatever anybody requires to call the supranational network of global corporations, governments, banks, military contractors, media and entertainment corporations, pharmaceutical goliaths, imperious oligarchs, non-governmental governing entities, etc, that are presently running the world) is done playing grab-ass. Grab-Ass time is over. They are going totalitarian on us. It isn’t your grandpa’s totalitarianism. It is a new, global-capitalist form of totalitarianism. However, like every other type of totalitarianism, its supreme goal is ideological uniformity and control of every aspect of society through a procedure the Nazis referred to as “Gleichschaltung.”
That process is well in progress at the moment. The New Regular authorities and their varied partners are implementing a range of societal-control systems, censorship and “visibility-filtering” of speech, digital currencies, restrictions on motion, the enforcement of radical ideological dogmas, and so on. And they are aggressively punishing dissent.
Among the most repulsive elements of their efforts to persecute political dissidents, censor our speech, and otherwise implement “New Normal Gleichschaltung” throughout the planet is the cynical way they’re utilizing the Holocaust and incorrect allegations of anti-Semitism as pretexts. If you wished to make a mockery of the memory of the Holocaust and the dignity of its victims and “further the objectives of a previous National Socialist organization” … well, I can not imagine a much better method to do it.
I’ll keep you published on the investigation, and I’ll try my finest to not go full “Late Lenny Bruce” and start publishing trial transcripts verbatim.
