The Management Institute is collaborating with conservative school board members– particularly, Sarasota County School Board Chair Bridget Ziegler– in opening a national school board head office in Sarasota, Florida, which will use a conservative track for candidates and elected authorities at the school board level.
During the last election cycle, Florida Republicans put a focus on school board races across the state as Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) determined those races as “a few of the most crucial” elections of the year.
“I believe what we have actually discovered is that those [school board races] are a few of the most crucial elections that we’re able to vote on,” the guv said during an interview in Daytona Beach, Florida, in March 2022.
“I think you’re going to have a big quantity of citizen interest in these August and November elections for the school boards in the various counties,” he stated at the time.
“I do not understand that I ever got involved in school board races before, however we’ll be included this year. We want to help people; they’re going to assist our kids,” the governor included.
And indeed, he did just that, endorsing conservative, pro-parent, students-first school board prospects throughout the state of Florida and promoting what has actually been dubbed the Florida Educational Blueprint.
Bridget Ziegler– now chair of the Sarasota County School Board– was amongst those blazing a trail, blowing the cover off the inner functions of the left’s monopoly on education and bringing the issues to the forefront, especially in the wake of the National School Boards Association basically asserting that concerned parents releasing difficulties at school board meetings were potentially engaging in a form of “domestic terrorism.” As a result, Chief law officer Merrick Garland tasked related agencies with examining what was described as a “disturbing trend,” and the Florida School Boards Association cut ties with the head company.
Breitbart News spoke to Ziegler about her experience in this battle exclusively in 2015:
Ziegler said she began to see things that were “stunning” to her upon joining the board, as it runs really in a different way than the business world. She described going to the Florida School Board Association conference, a chapter of the National School Board Association, and at the time the unions were suing the governor and legislature for taxpayer scholarships– something she promoted for. It was odd, she stated, for them to utilize taxpayer dollars to send her to this conference where they were touting concerns she protested. Seeing this, she and other conservative board members formed the Florida Union of School Board Members, which she described as a “little but magnificent group” that passed a ton of legislation. While effective, she stated the group did not grow exponentially, regardless of others revealing their support, due to the fact that there was “very much of an indoctrination to school board members, to policy makers.”
“When you get up there and are chosen, you’re instantly part of this association and they inform you that your job is to support the superintendent. [It’s] not about safeguarding, supporting, representing taxpayers or concentrate on monetary stewardship or … it as very much about no dissenting, very much groupthink, get in line,” she said, as this very same method seems the common theme in school boards across the country. Many people, she continued, subscribe to it, although they declare to be “conservatives.” But when they get on these boards, they “lose their backbone.”
At the time, Ziegler highlighted the stunning level of “coordination … seen at the local level with the Democratic Party at the national level and state level with our regional school boards.”
“There is a very strategic, coordinated effort with these foundations,” she included.
However, the monopoly is, certainly, falling apart– a minimum of in the Sunlight State. It is not simply the National School Boards Association– which explained worried moms and dads as domestic terrorists– that will supply training for school board members anymore. On Thursday, Ziegler announced the coordination with Management Institute to introduce a conservative track for elected officials at the school board level.

This comes months after a series of leftist defeats in school board races across the Sunlight State, turning significant school boards from liberal to conservative. In that time,
