On Sunday, the CMT Awards pandered to the hard left and extreme LGBT activists with its seemingly unlimited appreciation of drag queens and it’s most significant stars’ disingenuous attacks on laws meant to ban children at drag programs.
Meanwhile, Ballerini reportedly stands by her choice to include the drag queens at the woke CMT Music Awards.
Production sources told TMZ that both CMT and CBS were supportive of the drag queen cameo appearance, and that it was prepared. They were even included with the wedding rehearsals, the sources added.
Among the drag queens, Manila Luzon, even said it was actually Ballerini’s idea to include them at the CMT Music Awards.
He added that the drag queens were extremely delighted the network provided a platform in front of a new type of audience, and even stated that country music is changing, like the remainder of the world.
Including the drag queens wasn’t the only controversial occasion to take place throughout the CMT Music Awards.
CMT also utilized its 2023 Music Awards to reveal a new collaboration with Sandy Hook Guarantee, a gun control group established after the 2012 Sandy Hook Primary school shooting.
The move comes after 28-year-old Audrey Hale, a queer individual who thought she was male, stalked the halls of Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, where she eliminated three kids and three adults prior to she was effectively taken down by authorities.
While Hale was not a drag performer, authorities recommended that transgender propaganda played a role in her intention, admitting that “how she determines” likely had something to do with her targeting the school.
