‘Dances with Wolves’ Star Petitions Judge to Dismiss Sex Abuse Case

Actor Nathan Lee, likewise known as Nathan Chasing Horse, has actually requested a judge throw out the sex abuse case levelled versus him.

The star who first concerned public attention in the 1990 Oscar-winning movie Dances With Wolveshas requested a judge in Nevada to dismiss a criminal sex abuse case against him, with the actor’s defence council arguing the state’s case versus him is polluted.

Lee has been prosecuted on a variety of charges consisting of drug trafficking and the sexual abuse of a variety of females, one of whom it is claimed was under the age of 16– the legal age of approval in Nevada– at the time of the supposed event.

According to a report by the Associated Press, the star utilized his position at the head of a supposed cult referred to as The Circle to access to a variety of susceptible women and ladies.

District attorneys alleged a minimum of one of the girls was told they required to “compromise” their virginity to Lee in order to guarantee their mother’s health.

Lee however has rejected the charges, arguing any sexual interactions he had with the ladies were consensual, with his legal counsel arguing public district attorneys have overreached with the charges levelled versus him.

“It’s not the like a lack of permission,” Public defender Kristy Holston argued regarding the supposed transactional nature of the sexual encounters.” [A] sex worker, for instance, doesn’t want sex with the client. However their intention for doing it is for something other than desire.”

The defence has also supposedly argued the charge of drug trafficking is unassociated to the other charges fixed Lee, and must be handled independently.

Clark County District Court Judge Carli Kierny has said she would think about the arguments and would provide a decision before the end of the week. The Associated Press notes that she has the alternative of rejecting the demand entirely, removing a few of the charges, or fully writing off the case.

Lee is due back in court next Monday, with the main trial due to start May 1 if the case is not tossed out.
