Austrian Economics

Rooted in the custom of Carl Menger and Ludwig von Mises, along with Murray Rothbard and F.A. The Program

Accommodations

Details will be sent out to each trainee.

Shuttles in between the Atlanta GA, Birmingham AL, Columbus GA, or Montgomery AL airports are available through Tiger Taxi Shuttle. From Atlanta airport only, through Groome Transport. Awards

The trainee who emerges from the oral examinations (the Mündliche Prüfung) with the best record, as chosen by the analyzing committee, will be granted the Douglas E. French Scholarship Reward of $2,500. 2nd and third greatest scorers will receive the Kenneth Garschina Reward of $1,500 and $750 respectively.

Conference registration starts Sunday, July 24 at 5:00 p.m. Central time at the Mises Institute, 518 West Magnolia Avenue, Auburn, Alabama, with dinner at 6:00 and the opening lecture at 7:00. The occasion ends with a cookout on Saturday, July 30 at 4:00 p.m. Trainees need to check in at their accommodations before coming to the Mises Institute. There will be shuttles from the accommodations to the Mises Institute Sunday afternoon.

2021 Faculty

The School

The Mises Institute, where sessions happen, is nearby to Auburn University and near the heart of downtown Auburn. Final Examination

Mündliche Prüfungis an optional examination for students who would like to have their understanding tested at the end of the conference. The exam is open just to students.
