What an Old Coin Collection Informs Us about Cash from the Past

I was recently provided a coin collection that belonged to another relative. Most of the coins in it are not in blood circulation any longer, and while you don’t see them every day, they are absolutely not uncommon. The majority of aren’t in good condition either.
