The Dumbed Down Lack of Comprehending About Anarchy

By: Gary D. Barnett

It is very discouraging that many have accepted the modern-day and bastardized ‘meaning’ of anarchy. The majority of have actually been wrongly persuaded that anarchy indicates turmoil, lawlessness, looting, rioting, home damage, and assault. Absolutely nothing could be more absurd.

Language is of great importance to any society that seeks or desires to be totally free. The abuse of language and its meaning is not only widespread in this day and age, it is absolutely ludicrous, and considering that the intellect of Americans has for years and even centuries declined, the corruption of language and significances has ended up being a way for the state to manipulate the idea of the masses so that certain agendas can be perpetuated. It is a dumbing down of society by deception and stealth through broad-based propaganda.

One merely has to go to the root of words; the initial significances that do not alter, however are deliberately and arbitrarily changed by federal government and media in order to advance a specific way of thinking, or in this case, not thinking. The word “anarchy” is rooted in the base of the English language that is Latin and Greek. It implies “without guideline,” or “without rulers.” In other words, it implies self-rule of individuals, whether individuals act jointly or not. It does not suggest lawlessness, murder, and turmoil in the streets, as is promoted by the state today so that those versus the wicked federal government can be incorrectly implicated of being criminal.

I almost are reluctant calling myself an anarchist sometimes since of the gross misunderstanding of that term by many, however that is exactly what I am. I am not a Republican or Democrat; I am wrong wing, left wing, or a member of any political celebration in any shape, form, or style, including Libertarian. I just do not appreciate any governing system based on force; for that reason I appreciate no guideline over the specific besides natural law.

I am bringing this up since in nearly every discussion, almost every interview, and nearly every correspondence, my position as an anarchist is entirely misconstrued by the majority of, and I am assaulted for it, even though many have no idea whatsoever what anarchy is, and why it is so essential. It is not a political ‘system,’ it is not meant to be a nationwide or state arranged governing strategy, nor might it be, and I or any other truthful follower of individual liberty wishes to force anarchy on any other, or expect all to stick to that view. The appeal of anarchy is private self-rule, which negates any top-down, oppressive, or totalitarian structure whatsoever. For that reason, it is a security for liberty, never a cause for the loss of liberty.

I felt obligated today to when again answer a reader’s mistaken position about anarchy, so I believed I would describe the true significance of real anarchy, so regarding clarify the term. Part of the initial action to me I have actually posted listed below, in addition to my reply. It is apparent that this responder has no concept of the real meaning of anarchy, and that it is not indicated to be a nationwide or state governmental structure.

One can definitely pick to live outside of civilization, but because civilization can not exist without a rule of law, it is difficult for stateless law (governance without government) to spring to life ex nihilo, devolution from subordinated states being the most rational and globally impactful ways (particularly if they were American states) of degenerating in the actionable way that I explained. Or

do you honestly believe that in total defiance of (post hunter-gatherer/ New World) history, a free, antifragilesociety can in truth spring to life ex nihilo?

My answer:

As soon as once again, you misinterpret my position totally, and fail to comprehend the reality that I am extremely intelligent and totally comprehend the concepts of government. You also fail to comprehend that I am a realist, and understand how this system works, how it makes it through, which no utopia or lawless society is amazingly forthcoming. I have never ever taken or promoted such idiocy.

I am an anarchist in my philosophical method and belief, and anticipate no other to accept or act the method I might, as anarchy has definitely nothing to do with going back to lawlessness, divine intervention, or turmoil; it has just to do with self-rule of the individual. I have never when claimed that anarchy is some kind of federal government that needs a national or state participation, as anarchy is simply living without rule, and could never ever be a mass political system. Real secession, mass secession, would need that small systems or neighborhoods would emerge, and people would necessarily be drawn in to different ways of doing things as individuals voluntarily, and without browbeating or force. The only way to get a good totally free society, is to break away from guideline, not natural laws, and it would need to be a serene transition to be genuine.

I do not expect any such thing to happen due to the absolute ignorance and reliant nature of the human types, (especially Americans) and the broad-based natural inclination of the herd to be led, but it could happen in little units and areas given no obvious tyranny by a corrupt governing system like the one that exists here, and around the world today.

Individuals are anarchists each and every single day of their lives, or they could never survive at all. All have to make individual decisions, and act and respond on their own without guidance from above in order to work. I would similar to see more of it.

As to having no issue as to how things can or should happen or enhance, that is asinine, as overall non-aggression, natural regard for that facility, and peaceful co-existence are essential in order for any correct anarchical structure, regardless of size. As I stated, devolution can be useful if its aim is to not stop at simply replacing a national government with state government. Because my position is that all government is wicked, partial devolution would simply lead to a brand-new system that would still be set on a continuous gain of power, as is the goal of all political systems, all politicians, and all government at every level.

Groups, herds, mobs, collectives have no capability to believe seriously, or at all, or survive without top-down guideline, and therefore are useless in any effort to actually get genuine flexibility.”
