Most of Americans believe President Joe Biden has done a “poor” task in joining the nation, a Rasmussen Reports survey launched Tuesday discovered.
The study asked participants to rate how President Biden has actually performed in regards to unifying the nation. Fifty-three percent said he has done a “bad” task,” while 15 percent stated “fair.” Another 20 percent stated he is doing a “good” task, and 10 percent stated “excellent.” Notably, 79 percent of Republicans and 60 percent of independents said Biden is doing a “bad” task at joining the nation. Democrats remain fairly divided, as 52 percent say he is doing either good or excellent, and 45 percent say bad or reasonable.
The survey also asked, “Has America end up being more united or more divided given that last year’s election, or has it remained about the exact same?”
A solid majority of voters, 64 percent, said the country has become “more divided” given that the last election, while 23 percent stated it has stayed “about the same.” Another 11 percent stated it has actually been “more united,” and 3 percent said they are “uncertain.”

Per Rasmussen: Majorities in every racial group– 65% of whites, 52% of black voters and 66% of other minorities– agree that America has actually ended up being more divided given that the last election.
